Reading is an addiction. One that I am not looking for a cure. Growing up in a small rural town in Florida there are many stories to be told. Living in a town where the biggest thing to do growing up was "ride dirt roads" with friends, sometimes you need an escape and reading has always been mine. As a grew older it became more like an addiction. When I am not busy with my children or at church, my favorite thing to do is curl up on the couch and relax with a good romance.
I am an avid reader who has in the past few year started reading and reviewing books on Amazon, BN, Facebook , Goodreads, and anywhere else an author has requested. I am a Language Arts teacher, parent of two beautiful girls and a wife to an amazing husband. I have been fortunate enough to be a Beta Reader for Rachel Van Dyken. I have enjoyed doing this and promoting her work through Facebook, Twitter, and reviewing her books on Amazon, BN, and Goodreads.
Because of my work with Rachel, I've been fortunate enough to start doing acquisitions with a boutique publishing house. I love discovering new authors and reading books that make me stop and think about life differently.
Throughout my professional day as a teacher I am in charge of recommending books to students to read for their Accelerated Reading grade. I do not keep books in my classroom that I have not read, so that I can keep the teen students better informed, which is why I also read Teen &YA novels.
I have read and reviewed New Adult, Historical Romance (Regency), and Romance books in general. However, if you are looking for reviews and/or information for erotica books, you will not find them here.
